Why is Portbox Invite-Only?

We set ourself apart by trying our best to pre-screen all applicants for quality assurance and professionalism.

I signed up for an account but haven’t received an invitation code?

We issue invitation codes periodically. The fastest way to use the platform is, to be invited by a current user.

What type of photographers are allowed?

Your portfolio must show a STRONG professional interest to work with modeling photography in areas of fashion, glamour, or commercial etc.

No wildlife, wedding, event or family portrait photographers.

I don’t see a model or photographer I would like to work with?

If you do not see someone you would like to work with, simply send them a direct invite from within Portbox.
After registering their account; both of you can collaborate on a new project.

Who collects payment for photoshoot bookings?

Members are solely responsible for collecting their own payments. Portbox is an online organization tool.

Are we guaranteed to receive bookings?

We do not guarantee you will receive any booking. We highly recommend you to keep your profile up-to-date.

I’m having problems viewing on my smartphone?

Portbox is a desktop web app and currently not fully optimized for mobile smartphones.

Does Portbox charge booking fees?

We do not collect any booking fees.

Should I create two profiles if I am a model and a photographer?

Yes. You will need to create a separate account and profile for each profession.
